VROPS Installation Step by Step [Part 1]
VROPS (vRealize
Operation Manager) is a complete
monitoring and analysis software from vmware. It is help you to monitor
your infrastructure, performance and health. Its provides to
complete visibity into your infra. It is analysis of your
infra health and performance. VMware vRealize Operations Manager is
used for proactively identify and solve emerging issue
with predictive analysis and smart alerts ensuring
optimal performance and availability of applications and infrastructure. And it
will gives complete monitoring capability in one place across
applications, storage and network devices in your infrastructure.
vRealize Operations
Manager identifies issues in
any monitored system component, often before the customer notices a
problem. vRealize Operations Manager also frequently suggests
corrective actions you can take to fix the problem right away. For more
challenging problems, vRealize Operations Manager offers rich
analytical tools that allow you to review and manipulate object data to reveal
hidden issues, investigate complex technical problems, identify trends or drill
down to gauge the health of a single object.

Operations Manager 6.4 installation and configuration step
by step.
Download the vROPS appliance file in VMWARE
site.
Login the vSphere client or Web Client.
1 Click File and Select Deploy
OVF Template.
1 Click Browse
1 Choose the OVF Package vRealize-Operation-Manager-Appliance
1 Map the vRealize Operations Manager
Appliance OVA Package file from local disk and click Next
1 OVF Template details and click Next
1 Select Accept the end user
license agreements and click Next

Specify the name and location for
vRealize Operation Manager Appliance and click Next

Select Deployment Size as Extra Small (Lab
Environment) and click Next
Select Test
storage having free space more than xxx GB and click Next

Select Thick
Provision Eager Zeroed and Click
Next
Select
the Network which you want to use for vROPS
and Click Next
Select
the Time zone and enter Default Gateway,DNS,IP
address and Net Mask, click Next
Check Power on after deployment and
click Next
Deploying vRealize
Operations Manager is in progress

Verify the console vRealize Operation
Manager Appliance has been installed and note down the IP
address
Open web browser, enter the IP address and
press enter, then click Advanced
