ESXi Service restart
In ESX is common practice to need to restart the management services. In ESX this is done by running the following commands.
service mgmt-vmware restart
service vmware-vpxa restart
And again this has change in ESXi – so I thought I would post
this up because restarting the services is something that I do on a normal
basic and I don’t want to walk to the console every time I need to do this so I
use this command.
/usr/sbin/services.sh restart
